Lonely Liberty

A light shadow slips over cold ice

The last soul of human race

The world´s gone

And with it...life.

Oh, you thought there´d be angels?

They flew away long ago

Blown aparts

When there came ice and snow.

This last soul is me

At least I am free

But what shall I do with this lonely liberty

How shall I survive? This is no victory...

Now I know I´m immortal but I´m alone

Not among others suffering with me

This endless journey is my thrown

And seeking forever is what I´m gonna be

If there was a sense

Something to defend

Or just a change of season

I would be glad

Or rather relieved

And I would have a reason

To go on...

This last soul is me

At least I am free

But what shall I do with this lonely liberty

How shall I survive? This is no victory...

So I hide in a firtree´s shade

Trying to be forgotten

And as years go by

Even my memorys rotten...

This last soul was me

At least I was free

And what I did with this lonely liberty

Was my dearest victory

And the world´s mortality.
